When you want to buy drop or expired domain with Page Rank, you should be careful. Because many drop or expired domain sold at auction have Forged and Fake Pagerank. The easiest way to check Forged or Valid Page rank is by check the domain info at google.com
1. Open google.com
2. Type in search form “info:domainname” (without quote) and press enter
The result possibilities are,
- The result is the domain itself, its mean the domain page rank is valid
- The result is different domain (not the domain that you check). The domain page rank is Fake
- The result is no domain name appear. It’s mean the domain page rank probably Forged.
Which one is the best? Of course the valid page ranks. But if you get Forged Domain, I think it’s possible to validate it. What about Fake page rank? It would be difficult and almost impossible to validate it because the page rank is cheated by redirecting from other website page rank.

thanx infonya… dulu gw punya domain info. tak install joomla tiba2 trus tak biarin langsung PR 4. waktu itu bingung ngecek valid PR. sekarang dah jadi 0 lagi PR nya.

Mas, kalau aku baca di artikel ini berarti masih ada kemungkinan mengubah PR yg Forged menjadi Valid. Gimana cara/jalan yg mesti ditempuh? Krn sy baru beli domain PR3 dan PR4 – Valid, seminggu kemudian berganti status menjadi Forged. Mohon petuah/pencerahannya.
